I am a Greenville native and I have lived here for most of my life. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Clemson University.  In 2008, I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the Medical College of Georgia.  I have been a nurse practitioner for 15 years and I hold dual board certifications in family practice and psychiatric mental health. I have a very diverse clinical background that includes psychiatry, neurology and gerontology.

As a nurse practitioner, I have practiced both neurology and psychiatry locally in physician groups here in Greenville and I have first-hand knowledge of how challenging it can be to find a mental health provider when you need one. This challenge is often more difficult for Medicaid recipients. There simply are not enough mental healthcare providers to meet the needs of our community.

My passion for psychiatric/mental healthcare and the need for more providers has inspired me to help make psychiatric and mental healthcare services more available to those in our community who need these services the most. Growing up here in Greenville has helped to mold me into the person that I am today. I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to serve my community.
